Advantages of an Integrated Fridge
To give your kitchen remodel the ultimate in style consider including an integrated refrigerator. A true integrated fridge, including the door will be flush with your countertops and be covered with panels that match your cabinets. Integrated refrigerators are “panel ready” so you will have to coordinate the matching panels with your cabinet maker. The integrated fridge has long been popular in Europe but not so much in the US. In the US market, two manufacturers supply truly integrated refrigerators: Sub Zero and Thermadore. The integrated fridges are 26” deep, including the door. An advantage of an integrated fridge is that truly disappears in your kitchen. Counter-depth refrigerators have doors that extend beyond the countertop so while better than standard depth, don’t have the custom look as the integrated models.
