Is there any products that will allow a person to re-grow their hair? I get asked that question a lot and the answer is maybe. The US FDA has certified two pharmacuetical drugs as assisting in the growth of hair. The first of these, Minoxidol, is a topical solution that is applied to the scalp in lotion, cream, and conditioner form. Abot 50% of the people win a test with this drug showed some signs of hair growth after baldness. The second drug, Finasteride, is taken in pill form. It can only be obtained by prescription and is not prescribed for women of child bearing age because of the possibility of birth defects.
If you are looking for a way to regrow hair these are the only two drugs that have been OK’s by the FDA. Hair implant surgery has become very popular recently and more and more men and women are taking this approach. There are also hundreds of home remedies that have not been tried in a scinetific study.
