English bulldogs means bigger everything
Winston, my English bulldog, has this thing about being as close to me as possible at all times. Now, I adore this trait about him because you can really feel the love. Although there are times when I feel like screaming.
Those times are when he absolutely insists on getting under my desk and then promptly throwing himself down and falling asleep on my foot. Yes, he throws himself. It’s like he lifts all his legs at once and lets himself plop down. The thing is my desk is tiny… I barely have room, let alone his royal highness. It was fine four or five months ago when he could fit in my lap but now I end up 3 feet away from the desk. So I definitely need a bigger desk. Never mind the foot. I can always replace that.
Another great moment is coming close to breaking a bone in the kitchen every day. As soon as Winston sees I am doing something in the kitchen he saunters in and “delicately” lays down…. In the middle of the kitchen! So as to make sure that if I want to get from the sink to the stove, from the stove to the fridge or anywhere else for that matter, I have to climb over him. Since he takes up so little room, that’s really easy… not. So, I need a bigger kitchen.
Conclusion, I need a bigger house. To be truthful though I would rather buy a bigger house than give up on English bulldogs.
