Get Rid of a Big Pimple
If you wake up the morning before an important event with a big pimple on your face, do not go into panic mode. Take a deep breath and tell yourself that everything will be alright. The most important thing is to not overreact and do anything drastic that could make the situation worse.
Most people’s first reaction is to pop that sucker immediately. This is a horrible idea, because if you do it wrong you will be left with a big red blotch that is even more noticeable than before. Using ice on the pimple will help reduce the swelling, while using eye drops on it will help get rid of the redness.
For most big pimples this will really do the trick. You can cover up what is left with a little makeup (yes even if you are a guy), and it will be almost unnoticeable. However, if these options do not work you can try hydrocortisone cream as a last resort. Prolonged use of this is not great for your skin, but if you are in a bind it works pretty well.
