Is Yoga for You?
I have been working out for years and consider myself in great shape. Well at least I thought I was until I went to a yoga class. I was doing yoga, or least trying to, and not doing a good job. It turns out that I wasn’t in the best shape I could have been in. I was not working on my flexibility nearly as much as I should have been. When you aren’t flexible enough your muscles and tendons are put under stress in certain positions where they shouldn’t be. Being to tight will cause muscle injury during movements that would usually cause you no pain at all. A yoga workout is one of the best ways to work on your fitness level while improving range of motion in your joints and muscles.
