Measuring Kitchen Window Curtains
Kitchen window curtains are one of the easiest styles of curtains to make, and you can save a heap of money if you are a little handy, plus, you get to choose exactly the design you are after without having to settle for whatever you can find in the shops.
The first thing you need to do is measure the width of your curtain rod. To make your curtains gather, you are going to want to cut the material for both panels the same width as the rod. If you can’t get the fabric at the exact width that you want, you have some room to play around; more material will make your curtain fuller, whereas a little bit less will not do too much damage to the end result. For height, you want to go a few inches below the actual window frame to ensure that you get proper coverage.
