Natural Ways to Beat Stress
There are many things in life that can cause stress; you have relationship problems, financial worries, work issues and a lot more. Stress is a heavy and unseen burden and a lot of researchers agree that this is one of the many extreme tiredness causes.
The body reacts to stress by increasing the production of cortisol and adrenaline. Cortisol is often referred to as the “stress hormone” due to the fact that it increases your body’s blood pressure as a response to anxiety and stress. With this, you will become less receptive to pain, have dilated pupils and eventually, it will leave a negative effect on your immune system; thereby making you more prone to illnesses and diseases.
There are many symptoms of stress; you have lack of libido, no energy always tired, loss of memory, sleeping problems and the list keeps growing and growing. However, there are ways in order for you to beat this as there are always solutions to every problem.
First thing you need to do is to eat more. You see, eating less and dieting increases your cortisol level. Then again, this does not mean that you can go about your way eating junk foods and other grubs. You need to start eating more of the right foods. Eat foods that contain loads of vitamin C and B. Foods that are packed with these essential vitamins are sweet potatoes, tomatoes, orange, whole grains, salmon and broccoli. These foods will help reduce cortisol production, so make it a point to incorporate them in your daily meal plan.
Long and consistent sleep is also a good stress buster. Make it a point that you get enough sleep everyday so you feel fresh and energized. Wear ear plugs and eye masks for a good slumber. Vitamin B12 is also beneficial for you and you can get this by eating trout, salmon, eggs, chicken and yogurt.
