Sailing a Hunter 29.5
About seven years ago, I convinced a wife that it would be a good idea for us to buy our first sailboat. As it turned out, a friend of a friend and assemble for sale that was an immaculate condition. It was in 1994 Hunter 29.5 sailboat. It was already docked, and the asking price included the boat, a prime dock location in the first sailing lesson. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Our children are fairly young at the time we bother, but they are now growing into their teen years. That includes, one 15-year-old, and twins about to turn 13. We sailed the boat once up into the North Channel. It was quite a vacation in one won’t soon forget. Occasionally we’ve even race about. While it’s been a great boat for us, and when mind selling it in getting something a little bigger and a little newer.
