There are many websites on the Internet dedicated to quotes from famous people. Some of them are inspirational, some are funny, and others are just plain stupid. One of the most inspiring quotes about life that I have ever read was by Eleanor Roosevelt. It is short, and to the point, but its message is one that I have tried to live my life by – “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”.
This quote, when I first read it, gave me a clarity and purpose that I had never had in my life before. The power of the human language is incredible, and if I ever meet the First Lady in the next life, I will be shaking her hand and telling her just how much her words mean to me. It means that we all have dreams, and although some may be frightening, and others may be silly, some of them are just beautiful. If we truly believe that these beautiful dreams can come true, then the world is ours for the taking.
