The sulfur acne treatment
As part of an effective sulfur acne treatment you may want to consider using a volcanic sulfur based soap. A ten percentage volcanic sulfur soap, some of which also contain salicylic acid (another common over the counter acne treatment), will cleanse and exfoliate your skin without using a facial scrub. When there is already acne present, scrubs can break open pimples and cause bleeding, scabbing and scarring. Volcanic sulfur soap uses natural keratolytic properties to promote the shedding of dead skin cells. It then begins to penetrate the skin to remove excess oil and kill the bacteria and fungus that lead to infection. Dead skin cells are one of the main causes of acne. Removing them is a very important part of healing and preventing breakouts.
