Which Credit Card should a College Student Have?
So which is the best college student credit cards ? Who has the best offers? Well I would say stop right there and consider – consider whether giving a young person who just left home a credit card is a very good idea at all.
Sure you can’t go around paying for everything in cash – that doesn’t work over the phone or on the Internet or for regular bills. But a credit card isn’t necessarily the answer – why not instead consider getting the college student a debit card – it looks like a credit card, it can be used like a credit card, its free and it does charge interest – that’s because its linked to your check account and you spend your own money when you use the card – what a cool idea!
