Why Do Men Pay Higher Liposuction Prices?
It’s interesting to note two things:
One – men are getting cosmetic surgery treatments more and more each year. This is especially prominent in Asian countries.
Two – men pay more for the same liposuction treatments than women!
The first one is not such a surprise, but the second – men paying more for the same procedure! What’s going on here? Are men getting ripped off?
Actually, the truth is there are legitimate reasons why liposuction treatments on a male body cost more than on a female body. Men’s bodies tend to have more fibrous fat. This means it’s harder for the surgeon to break it up via the cannula (or another device, depending on the liposuction technique being implemented). This extra work translates into more expertise and overall, more time spent by the doctor.
It is obvious to see then that this leads to an increase in the rates for male liposuction prices for men over women.
